At the onset of our firm, diversity and inclusion were at the heart of our decision-making process. Catalina had not experienced women or minorities in leadership roles in her professional career, and felt it was our responsibility to be one of the few firms in the Pittsburgh region setting that example for future women and minorities in the design and construction field.

As of April 2023, our firm is pleased to have received the designations of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in the state of Pennsylvania.

With these designations at the forefront of our firm culture, we hope to engage in more open and inclusive dialogue with past, present, and tuture clients, as well as provide a more thoughtful, holistic design process that allows room for those that have not historically been included in the design and construction industry to have a seat at the table.
